The exhibition "To Arms! ..." presents various information about the HEMA (Histirical European Martial Arts) and the saber as a symbol and typical historical white weapons in Poland. An important element of the exhibition is the construction of the saber, its evolution, regional differences and production technology.
2018 - it`s a two hundred years since the first fencing courses at the Jagiellonian University. We have shown the place of fencing in education in Poland, the development of private fencing schools in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and more....
The exhibition is accompanied by other events: museum lessons, workshops, demonstrations but also a scientific session or lectures.
